With an addiction to wings and a notion to create an original hot sauce, Tommy Wood amalgamated Bootlikker in his home kitchen in 2002. Something instinctual told him that tequila would play the right note to make it sing.  The rest is history.  And, the future.

The appeal was immediate. Friends and fans were asking for more. Using it on everything from pizza and eggs to burgers and steak. Yes, steak. Suggesting that just maybe Bootlikker should go to market. After years of making a dozen bottles here and there for friends and Christmas presents, the decision was made to jump the hurdles and make the leap to mass production.
